Troy Helming has been a full-time Renewable Energy pioneer since 1999, with hands-on direct experience in wind, solar (PV & thermal), biodiesel, and hydrogen (fuel cells, electrolyzers, etc). Ever since his father installed a first-of-its-kind solar thermal system in 1980 on the family residence (a 7,500 sq foot home) that heated the pool, hot tub, and domestic hot water while supplementing the natural gas furnaces with solar space heat, Mr. Helming has been completely committed to affordable green energy - and weaning the US off our silly dependence on dirty and ever-more-costly fossil fuels.
